HOW WE GOT OUR FUNKY NAME
In 1946, Low Cost Transportation Company, which would eventually become Banleaco, was formed. The company focused on financing products in the automotive industry. In 1961, the company moved into the equipment financing marketplace under the name Bankers Car Sales Company. In 1971, the name was changed to Bankers Leasing Company and in 2017 we became Banleaco.
Over the years we have financed thousands of items including medical equipment, pharmacy equipment, lighting solutions, software and office equipment.
Banleaco offers business owners as well as vendors and their customers the flexibility and exceptional service they won’t find anywhere else. Banleaco has supported equipment financing and leasing needs for more than 75 years. In that time, we have not traded our exceptional personal service for size or profit margins. We work with a client base that consists of thousands of companies in numerous industries nationwide. We are dedicated to personal service and flexible equipment financing options.

Sherrie started her Banleaco journey in May 2022. When she’s not working, she loves to spend time with her children and grandchildren, as well as kayak, spend time near water, read, craft, and travel.

Dave spends his weekends biking, fishing, and playing tennis…just not all at the same time! Every year he and a group of friends travel to a different major league baseball stadium. To date they have visited 18 of the 30 Major League Baseball stadiums.

Over the past 20 years, Kara has logged hundreds of thousands of miles meeting with our customers across the United States. Despite all of that travel, she still loves to travel in her free time. She also enjoys riding her Harley Davidson with her husband.

Julie keeps busy volunteering with the PTA, Girl Scouts, her church, Little League and serves as Board President at Bethany Preschool. When looking for Julie, she won’t be far from a ball field or court cheering on her two kids. When she is able to catch a free minute, she enjoys boating, jet skiing, and 4-wheeling. On Saturdays during the fall, you will find Julie’s family at Iowa State football games cheering on the Cyclones.

Helen likes to try new things to keep life interesting. She’s a food addict and enjoys sampling different type of food. When not watching television, she likes to be at the lake, spending time with her family and friends or shopping! Helen wants to visit Vietnam one day where her family is from or travel to other states when she can.

Amie is a sports enthusiast at every level; from her son’s high school football and baseball games, to watching Notre Dame, Mizzou and NWMS’ Bearcat college football as well as the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. This busy mom of three boys also loves to read, knit and scrapbook

Brenda holds the title of best baker in the office. A self described introvert with a coffee addiction, Brenda bakes and decorates amazing cakes that our staff are always more than happy to sample. Brenda also gardens, knits, sews, and scrapbooks.

Danielle started at Banleaco in the fall of 2021. She spends her free time enjoying life’s adventures with her family and friends. She can often be found sewing, quilting, and working on any number of creative projects

Shelly has worked for Banleaco for over 30 years! (Yes, she started when she was 5 years old.) When not spending time with her family and friends, she enjoys long walks with her fur baby, bike rides (yes, the fur baby tags along too) and reading. Shelly is the bookworm of the office
